When The Wharf in Orange Beach, AL, was under construction after Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast, Elizabeth Lord was contracted to develop its marketing strategy and launch the brand. When York’s town leaders envisioned a welcoming retreat for visitors to the county seat, they approached Elizabeth Lord to establish Rosecrest Cottage Bed & Breakfast—a charming Victorian cottage nestled in the heart of York, SC, just south of Charlotte, NC. This home, on the National Register of Historic Homes, was transitioned into to a B&B welcoming courthouse guests and travelers from across the state. Through thoughtful branding, storytelling, and an emphasis on authentic Southern charm, the cottage quickly became a beloved destination, adding warmth and character to York’s famous "white rose" city.
